What advice would you give to current or prospective students? 1. Don’t date your first semester of your freshmen year. 2. Be as involved as possible in school activities. 3. Find people you can talk to about your personal spiritual walk. 4. Talk to professors one on one. They’re your friends, not your enemies.
What was the most important thing you learned while attending Oklahoma Christian University? I learned that God made every person unique, and he uses every single one of them for his purposes. What is your passion in life? I have a passion for God and leading others towards a meaningful relationship with him.
What is your favorite memory from or favorite thing about OC? My greatest experience at OC was my trip to Vienna in ’03. I learned and experienced more in that 3 month period than nearly any time in my life. It was a wonderful time of adventure with friends and personal growth. (I began dating my wife there too.)
What advice would you share with a soon to be graduate of OC about "the real world"? Don’t let yourself get in a monotonous routine. It’s easy to do the same things day after day, week after week, year after year. Remember to break free from the norm. Take breaks. Take little vacations here and there. Get out, do whatever it is you like doing.
