1984 - Mark Clift

The following article appeared in the Daily Oklahoman on Tuesday, December 4, 2007 about OC alumnus, Mark Clift (84) and his company, Maestro Computer and Cable Services:

Maestro Services is owned by Mark Clift, president, and has shown remarkable growth since 2004. It was named as the fourth fastest-growing Oklahoma City area privately owned business on the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce's Metro 50 list for 2007.

Maestro Services was founded in 1990 by Clift and Bill Amalong, both of whom worked in the Information Technology division for the Hertz Corp. They used their newly formed company largely as a tool to buy and install technology products at a discount for their personal needs, Clift said.

Clift earned a management science degree from Oklahoma Christian University and then worked for Hertz for 12 years, as well as five years as a data communications contractor.
