I am retired from Harding but still teach for them adjunct
at times. I am also teaching on line for Regions University in
Montgomery, Alabama. I have written a commentary on Isaiah and will have
one on the book of Job come out next year. I am Old Testament editor for
Resource Publication Commentaries.
Joyce and I have celebrated 53 years of marriage. We
have five children, fifteen grand children and one great grandson. All of
our children are serving the Lord. The oldest is married to an Italian
architect and they are mainstays in the Bergamo, Italy. Our oldest son is
director of Harding University in Florence, Italy. He also serves the
church there by teaching, preaching and evangelizing. Our next daughter
is married to a Harding professor. She is a registered nurse. They
served as missionaries in Italy for ten years. Our next daughter is
married to the President of Central Arkansas Christian School. They
worship at Levy. Our youngest son is a missionary in Tibet with his wife
and three children.
I served many years as a missionary in Italy, as Director of
International Campaigns, as Dean of International Studies at Harding, and as a
professor of Bible.
